At the 2006 Starpack Awards,
Plantic Technologies Limited was awarded a 'Silver Star' in the category of
'Best Packaging Innovation Leading to a Significant Reduction in Household
Waste'.
The application on which the award was based was the Nestlé
Dairy Box.

Plantic was a finalist in the 2005 Saatchi & Saatchi Award for World Changing Ideas. The Saatchi & Saatchi global network is part of the Publicis Groupe, the world's fourth largest communications group. The role of the Award is to uncover and spotlight innovations in communication that have the potential to change the world.
Every two years it is judged by a panel of people from a wide range of disciplines. For 2005 the Award panel included lateral thinking pioneer Dr Edward De Bono, film director Baz Luhrmann and singer Lou Reed, among others.
